One of the critical components to risk assessment and trauma response is continuous training and education. NACTATR recognizes that not every multi-stakeholder team can commit the time to attend ongoing training in VTRA and TES but the need still exists. As a result, we have developed an ongoing process of additional sessions and updates to clients.

Ongoing engagement and learning is critical to NACTATR and to maintaining the efficacy of the TES and VTRA models. NACTATR is here to support ongoing learning through innovation as the leader in the field of risk assessment and violence prevention.

"VTRA is the recognized 'Gold Standard' for violence prevention and intervention! Alongside the Toronto Police Service, we are in the midst of providing VTRA Training to over 1000 front line/multi-disciplinary staff from nearly 100 Community Agency Partners that are involved with our F.O.C.U.S Situation Tables. Further, we have found that above the recognized benefits of VTRA, this FOCUS Toronto capacity building has immediately enhanced our operational responses to preventing/countering violent extremism in Toronto."
